CDW Corporation (NASDAQ: CDW) announced that Hang Tan will join the company on April 27, 2026, as Chief Strategy and Transformation Officer. Tan will report to Chair and Chief Executive Officer Christine A. Leahy and oversee enterprise strategy, transformation office, and corporate development.
Tan brings more than 20 years of experience in strategy, corporate development and business operations at enterprise technology organizations. He most recently served as Chief Operating Officer of Hybrid Cloud at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, where he helped scale the company's hybrid cloud business. Previously, as HPE's Chief Strategy Officer, he led Corporate FP&A and Venture Investments while guiding the company's transition to an as-a-service model.
Earlier in his career, Tan spent a decade at Bain & Company as a Partner, advising global technology companies on growth strategy and transformation. He began his career in software development at Microsoft.
"Hang brings a powerful combination of deep technology experience and a track record of success translating strategy into growth, both organic and inorganic," said Leahy in a statement. She noted that Tan will join the team as CDW accelerates its AI-forward, full-lifecycle strategy.
CDW is a multi-brand provider of information technology solutions to business, government, education, and healthcare customers in the United States, the United Kingdom, and Canada. The company is a Fortune 500 member and part of the S&P 500 Index.
