Seagate Technology Holdings plc (NASDAQ: STX) announced three new consumer storage products designed for backup, gaming and creative workflows.
The company released the Seagate One Touch desktop external hard drive with capacities of 8TB, 20TB and 24TB. The device uses bus-powered USB-C connectivity, eliminating the need for external power adapters. Pricing starts at $259.99 for the 8TB model.
The Seagate FireCuda X Vault targets gamers and streamers with 8TB and 20TB capacity options. The product features customizable RGB lighting and includes Xbox Game Pass trial access. The 8TB model starts at $269.99.
For creative professionals, Seagate introduced the LaCie 8big Pro5 multi-bay RAID storage system. The device offers capacities ranging from 32TB to 256TB and supports Thunderbolt 5 connectivity with speeds up to 120Gbps. Performance reaches up to 2,800MB/s in RAID 0 configuration. The system provides up to 140W power delivery for laptops. Pricing begins at $5,979.
"From AI-assisted creativity to massive game libraries and family memories, personal data is growing faster and lasting longer," said Lance Ohara, VP, Edge IoT at Seagate. "People need storage that's designed for this new reality — simple to use, built to scale, and ready for what AI brings next."
All three products include Seagate's Rescue Data Recovery Service. The One Touch and FireCuda models come with Seagate Toolkit backup software. The LaCie system includes a five-year limited warranty.
The products are available through Seagate's online store and authorized partners, according to the company's press release.
