Jefferies analyst Julien Dumoulin-Smith raised the price target on FirstEnergy Corp. (NYSE: FE) to $52.00 (from $50.00) while maintaining a Hold rating.
The analyst comments "Our tone on FE shifts less constructive into the April 29 1Q26 call, though we reaffirm our HOLD. Our PT is $52.00 PT (vs $50). The $36bn 2026-2030 plan and $2.62-$2.82 2026 Core EPS guidance remain intact, but the April 16 PECO withdrawal, the enrolled Maryland Utility RELIEF Act, and the ongoing New Jersey business-model study have together broadened the regulatory range across the footprint. We model 1Q26E Core EPS of $0.72 and see a longer path before a premium multiple."
