Cognizant Technology Solutions Corporation (NASDAQ: CTSH) announced the launch of Cognizant Skillspring, an AI-native learning platform designed to help organizations train their workforce for artificial intelligence applications.
The platform uses AI agent-driven tutoring and content creation to deliver personalized learning experiences across large workforces. Skillspring maps skills directly to roles, projects and performance outcomes, adapting learning paths as job requirements change.
According to Cognizant's New Work New World 2026 research, AI can now handle $4.5 trillion in U.S. work tasks and impacts up to 93% of jobs. The company stated this pace of change exceeds the speed at which conventional learning systems can respond.
"The AI era requires more dynamic learning systems designed to evolve as work, roles and technologies change," said Kathy Diaz, Chief People Officer at Cognizant. "Cognizant Skillspring is purpose-built for the pace and complexity of this moment, enabling continuous talent transformation in the flow of work."
The platform includes conversational, multimodal experiences that embed learning into daily workflows. Internally at Cognizant, Skillspring is paired with an AI Fluency Dashboard that provides employees with real-time visibility into their AI readiness and tracks usage and innovation metrics.
Cognizant will make Skillspring available to universities, colleges and community development partners. The Marcy Lab School has partnered with Cognizant to use the platform for training fellows in AI-related job skills.
The platform builds on Cognizant's existing workforce development programs, including Synapse, the company's global upskilling program, and its commitment to the White House pledge to invest in AI education for American youth.
Cognizant has already deployed Skillspring internally and uses it to upskill hundreds of thousands of employees annually, according to the press release statement.
