Strategy Inc sells $2.5 billion in securities, buys 34,164 bitcoin

Strategy Inc (NASDAQ: MSTR) sold securities worth $2.54 billion and acquired 34,164 bitcoin during the week ending April 19, 2026, according to a company statement.
The company sold 21,795,389 shares of STRC stock for $2.18 billion in notional value, generating net proceeds of $2.18 billion. Strategy also sold 2,165,000 shares of MSTR stock, though the notional value was not disclosed, producing net proceeds of $366 million.
No sales were reported for STRF, STRK, or STRD stock during the period. The company has remaining capacity of $1.62 billion for STRF stock, $2.10 billion for STRK stock, $4.01 billion for STRD stock, and $26.73 billion for MSTR stock available for future issuance and sale under its at-the-market offering program.
Strategy used the proceeds to purchase bitcoin at an average price of $74,395 per coin, spending $2.54 billion inclusive of fees and expenses. The acquisition increased the company's total bitcoin holdings to 815,061 coins with an aggregate purchase price of $61.56 billion and an average purchase price of $75,527 per bitcoin.
In March 2026, Strategy announced a $21 billion increase to its MSTR stock offering capacity. Sales under this increase may begin once the existing offering capacity is substantially depleted.
