Stanley Black & Decker says tariff changes won't affect 2026 guidance

Stanley Black & Decker Inc. (NYSE: SWK) stated that recent changes to Section 232 tariffs are not expected to materially impact the company's full-year 2026 guidance, according to a company press release.
The New Britain, Connecticut-based tools and outdoor solutions manufacturer plans to provide additional details during its first quarter earnings call scheduled for April 29, 2026 at 8:00 a.m. ET.
Stanley Black & Decker operates manufacturing facilities globally and employs approximately 43,500 people. The company produces power tools, hand tools, storage solutions, digital jobsite products, outdoor equipment and engineered fasteners. Its brand portfolio includes DEWALT, CRAFTSMAN, STANLEY, BLACK+DECKER and Cub Cadet.
Section 232 tariffs are trade measures imposed under Section 232 of the Trade Expansion Act, which allows the U.S. government to restrict imports on national security grounds.
