United Therapeutics Corporation (NASDAQ: UTHR) announced it will present 11 data presentations at the International Society for Heart and Lung Transplantation 46th Annual Meeting taking place April 22-25 in Toronto, Canada.
The presentations include interim analysis results from two clinical studies. The PHINDER study identified non-invasive measures that may facilitate earlier detection and management of pulmonary hypertension in patients with interstitial lung disease. The ARTISAN study indicated that early, high-dose treatment with treprostinil reduced afterload, improved right ventricular function, and reversed cardiac remodeling in pulmonary arterial hypertension.
"The data from ARTISAN and PHINDER suggest that earlier detection and intervention are key to improving outcomes for patients with PH," said Andrew Nelsen, PharmD, Vice President, Global Medical Affairs at United Therapeutics.
Additional presentations will cover real-world outcomes for patients with interstitial lung disease with and without pulmonary hypertension after lung transplantation, along with data from the company's ex vivo lung perfusion and xenotransplantation programs.
The presentations include topics on machine learning-based prediction of donor lung acceptance, lung transplantation outcomes, and xenotransplantation research involving genetically modified porcine organs.
United Therapeutics will also sponsor a reception for recipients of its 2026 Jenesis Innovative Research Awards and Jenesis Trailblazer Awards, recognizing research contributions in pulmonary hypertension, idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, and lung transplantation.
The information is based on a company press release statement.
