Bank of Nova Scotia (NYSE: BNS) said it expects to report approximately CAD $77 million in net income contribution from its ownership interest in KeyCorp for the second quarter of 2026.
The contribution represents Scotiabank's share of KeyCorp's first quarter 2026 net income and includes acquisition-related and other accounting impacts. The figure is reported net of the bank's associated funding costs and reflects a one-month reporting lag.
Adjusting for the amortization of acquired intangible assets of approximately CAD $8 million, Scotiabank's adjusted net income contribution from KeyCorp totals approximately CAD $85 million.
Scotiabank will release its second quarter financial results and host an earnings conference call on May 27, 2026. The bank said conference call and audio webcast details will be announced closer to that date.
The information was disclosed in a company statement.
