Virgin Galactic Holdings Inc. (NYSE: SPCE) announced that board member Luigi Brambilla will not seek re-election at the company's 2026 annual meeting of stockholders.
Brambilla informed the company on April 13 that he would step down upon completion of his current term for personal reasons. The company stated his decision was not the result of any disagreement with Virgin Galactic.
Virgin Investments Limited, which holds the right to designate two board nominees under a 2019 stockholders' agreement, nominated Allison Belzberg to fill the position. Belzberg serves as Director, Investment and Commercial of Virgin Management USA Inc., a subsidiary of Virgin Investments Limited.
The company said additional information about Belzberg will be included in its proxy statement filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission before the 2026 annual meeting.
