Investing.com -- Figma (NYSE: FIG) fell 6% Tuesday after The Information reported that Anthropic is preparing to launch an AI-powered tool for designing websites and presentations, potentially as soon as this week.
Adobe Systems (NASDAQ: ADBE) fell 2.7%, Wix dropped 4.7%, and GoDaddy declined 3% on the same report.
According to The Information, Anthropic’s upcoming design tool aims to help both technical and non-technical users create presentations, websites, landing pages and products using natural language prompts. A person with knowledge of the products said the tool would pose a threat to startups like presentation-maker Gamma and AI design tool Google Stitch.
The report also indicated that Anthropic is preparing its next flagship model, Claude Opus 4.7, which could be released alongside the design tool. However, Opus 4.7 is not Anthropic’s most advanced model. That distinction belongs to Claude Mythos.
