Zealand Pharma names Eric Rojas as VP of investor relations

Zealand Pharma A/S (NASDAQ: ZEAL) announced the appointment of Eric Rojas as Vice President and Head of Investor Relations, effective April 15, 2026. Rojas will report to Chief Financial Officer Henriette Wennicke and will be based in Massachusetts.
Rojas brings more than 20 years of experience in investor relations and finance across biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies. He has held senior positions at Vertex Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ: VRTX), Stoke Therapeutics (NASDAQ: STOK), and Shire, which was acquired by Takeda for $62 billion.

The Copenhagen-based biotechnology company focuses on developing medicines for obesity and metabolic health. Zealand Pharma operates with more than 25 years of peptide research and development expertise and maintains a U.S. presence in Boston, Massachusetts.
The company has advanced more than ten drug candidates into clinical development, with two products reaching market and three candidates in late-stage development. Zealand Pharma maintains collaborations with global pharmaceutical and biotechnology partners for research, development, and commercialization activities.
The appointment comes as the company establishes a new research site in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Founded in 1998, Zealand Pharma trades on the Nasdaq exchange under the ticker ZEAL.
