LibertyStream appoints energy veteran Michael Bodino to board
LibertyStream Infrastructure Partners Inc. (TSXV: LIB) announced the appointment of Michael Bodino to its board of directors, according to a company statement.
Bodino brings over 30 years of energy industry experience to the Dallas-based lithium development company. He most recently served as Managing Director of Investment Banking and Co-Head of Energy Investment at Texas Capital, where he participated in more than 270 private and public debt, equity and advisory transactions representing aggregate value exceeding $50 billion.
The appointee previously held senior positions at multiple investment banks as a research analyst, director of research, and investment banker. He received the Wall Street Journal's "Best on the Street" award and was ranked among top analysts covering U.S. oil and gas companies. Bodino holds an MBA from Texas Christian University and a Bachelor of Sciences in Economics from Louisiana State University.
LibertyStream's board also approved granting 2.5 million incentive stock options and 3.5 million restricted share units to consultants, senior management and directors. The options vest 25% immediately and 25% per quarter thereafter, are exercisable at CAD$0.96, and expire April 13, 2030. The restricted share units vest on April 12, 2027.
LibertyStream develops lithium extraction technology for oilfield brine and aims to become one of North America's first commercial producers of lithium carbonate from this source. The company deploys proprietary direct lithium extraction technology into existing oil and gas infrastructure.
