AMTD companies expect to close $328 million hospitality deals
AMTD Group Inc., AMTD IDEA Group (NYSE: AMTD), AMTD Digital Inc. (NYSE: HKD), and The Generation Essentials Group (NYSE: TGE) announced they expect to close hospitality transactions valued at approximately $328 million within two to three weeks.
The transactions include The Ritz-Carlton in Australia, Upper View Regalia Hotel in Malaysia, and a UK portfolio comprising Dao by Dorsett Hornsey Hotel, the historic Hornsey Town Hall, and a London office tower. The UK hotel will be renamed AMTD Dao by Dorsett Hornsey Hotel, while the London office tower will become The AMTD IDEA House.
The Generation Essentials Group is a subsidiary of AMTD Digital Inc. All companies involved in the announcement are part of the broader AMTD organization, which operates across media, entertainment, education, training, and hospitality sectors.
AMTD IDEA Group trades on both the New York Stock Exchange and Singapore Exchange. AMTD Digital Inc. is headquartered in France and operates digital solutions platforms. The Generation Essentials Group, also headquartered in France, focuses on multimedia, entertainment, and cultural affairs globally.
