SAIC adds AI expert Paul Eremenko and ex-NSA chief Mike Rogers to board

Science Applications International Corp. (NASDAQ: SAIC) appointed Paul Eremenko and retired Navy Adm. Michael Rogers to its board of directors, expanding the board from 11 to 13 members.

Eremenko serves as CEO and co-founder of P-1 AI, a company developing artificial intelligence for systems engineering. He previously held executive positions at United Technologies Corporation as chief technology officer from 2018 to 2019, leading 30,000 engineers. He also served as CEO of Universal Hydrogen Co. from 2020 to 2024 and held technology roles at Airbus SE, Google's Advanced Technology and Projects group, and the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency.

Rogers concluded a 37-year military career in 2018 after serving as both National Security Agency director and commander of U.S. Cyber Command from 2014 to 2018. He previously led U.S. Fleet Cyber Command and U.S. Tenth Fleet from 2011 to 2014 and served as director of intelligence for U.S. Indo-Pacific Command from 2007 to 2011. Since 2019, he has worked as senior advisor to the Brunswick Group.

Both appointees will join the audit committee and technology committee of the board, according to the company's statement. SAIC Board Chair Donna Morea said their expertise in technology, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity and intelligence would support the company's federal mission priorities.

SAIC, headquartered in Reston, Virginia, provides mission integration services across defense, space, civilian and intelligence markets. The company employs approximately 23,000 people and reports annual revenues of about $7.3 billion.
