SailPoint names Levent Besik as Chief Product Officer

SailPoint Inc. (NASDAQ: SAIL) appointed Levent Besik as Chief Product Officer, the company announced. Besik will report to Executive Vice President of Product and Chief Technology Officer Chandra Gnanasambandam and lead the product organization.

Besik previously served as Vice President of Product Management for Microsoft's Identity division, where he led product management for the Human and Agentic Identity platform. Before Microsoft, he held executive product leadership positions at Okta, focusing on Customer Identity, and at Google, where he led the Cloud AI platform and Solutions organization.

"Levent's deep expertise, coupled with his entrepreneurial mindset and passion for product innovation, make him the ideal leader to guide our product organization through our next exciting phase of growth," Gnanasambandam said.

Besik said the company is positioned to address enterprise needs for AI security and governance solutions. "With the rapid rise of AI, enterprises are urgently seeking solutions to secure, govern, and protect agents end to end," he stated.

SailPoint provides enterprise identity security solutions and describes itself as serving organizations with AI-powered platform technology for identity management and security.
