Akamai Technologies (NASDAQ: AKAM) announced a partnership with Arrow Electronics' enterprise computing solutions business to expand distribution of its cloud, security, and application delivery solutions through Arrow's channel partner network.
The collaboration makes Akamai a member of Arrow's Partner Connect program, which works with technology vendors and channel partners to deliver IT solutions across cloud, data center, security, networking, and software sectors.
Under the partnership, customers will gain access to faster digital experiences, expanded cloud and security service offerings, streamlined onboarding and procurement processes, and accelerated revenue generation through enablement and support programs.
Akamai's platform moves applications closer to users and applies security protection across applications, APIs, and infrastructure using an edge-first approach designed for distributed environments.
"Arrow amplifies the reach and impact of our product portfolio through its extensive channel partner relationships and strong engineering, sales, and marketing capabilities," said PJ Joseph, Executive Vice President of Global Sales and Services at Akamai. "This alliance accelerates time to market, expands solution opportunities, and enables customers to bundle Akamai into broader cloud, security, and managed service offerings."
Matt Brennan, Vice President of Supplier Alliances for Security and Modern Infrastructure at Arrow Electronics, said the partnership strengthens Arrow's ability to support channel partners as customer needs evolve across cloud, security, and application delivery sectors.
The partnership allows Arrow to make technologies more accessible for channel partners to integrate and scale as part of multi-vendor solutions, according to the company statement.
