Lucid produces 5,500 vehicles in Q1, delivers 3,093 amid supplier issues

Lucid Group Inc. (NASDAQ: LCID) produced 5,500 vehicles and delivered 3,093 vehicles during the first quarter ended March 31, 2026, according to a company statement.
The electric vehicle manufacturer reported that deliveries of its Lucid Gravity model were disrupted for 29 days due to a supplier quality issue with second-row seats, which impacted the company's ability to meet customer demand. The company stated these issues have been resolved.
Lucid reaffirmed its production guidance of 25,000-27,000 vehicles for the year despite the first quarter challenges. The company noted it now includes all vehicles produced at its AMP-1 facility in its production numbers, including those shipped to Saudi Arabia.
The company will host a conference call to discuss first quarter 2026 financial results on May 5, 2026, at 2:30 p.m. PT. Lucid plans to release its earnings report prior to the call, with a webcast available on its investor relations website.
Lucid has partnered with Say Technologies to allow shareholders to submit and vote on questions for management to address during the earnings call. The question submission platform opens April 20, 2026, and closes May 4, 2026.
The company operates manufacturing facilities in Arizona and Saudi Arabia, producing what it describes as software-defined vehicles for premium automotive market segments.
