Global Net Lease announces retirement of two board members

Global Net Lease, Inc. (NYSE: GNL) announced that board members Sue Perrotty and Governor Edward Rendell will retire from the company's Board of Directors effective immediately following the 2026 Annual Meeting of Stockholders.
The two directors will not stand for re-election at the annual meeting. Perrotty served on the board for 11 years, while Rendell served for 14 years, according to the company's statement.
"On behalf of the Board, I want to thank Sue and Governor Rendell for their contributions to GNL during their 11 and 14 years of dedicated service, respectively, particularly their leadership guiding the Company through the merger and internalization in 2023," said Rob Kauffman, Non-Executive Chairperson of the Board.
Following the retirements, the board determined that if all eight of its nominees are elected at the 2026 Annual Meeting of Stockholders, the board will consist of eight members going forward.
Global Net Lease is a publicly traded internally managed real estate investment trust that focuses on acquiring and managing a portfolio of income producing net lease assets across the United States, Western Europe, and Northern Europe.
