Sight Sciences Inc. (NASDAQ: SGHT) announced that clinical data on its OMNI Surgical System and TearCare System will be presented at the 2026 American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery Annual Meeting in Washington, DC.
The presentations will include three studies examining the company's interventional technologies for glaucoma and dry eye disease. Two presentations focus on the TearCare System, comparing localized heat therapy outcomes with cyclosporine treatment for dry eye disease. One poster presentation will examine longer-term diurnal intraocular pressure fluctuations following procedures using the OMNI Surgical System.
The TearCare presentations include an oral presentation by Dr. Mina Farahani examining outcomes for localized heat therapy versus cyclosporine in dry eye disease by baseline severity, scheduled for April 11. A poster presentation led by Dr. Yuna Rapoport will analyze clinically relevant changes in tear break-up time with both treatments.
The OMNI System poster presentation, led by Dr. Mark Pyfer, will examine diurnal intraocular pressure fluctuations following canaloplasty and trabeculotomy procedures performed with and without cataract surgery.
Paul Badawi, CEO and co-founder of Sight Sciences, stated the data demonstrate significant reductions in long-term diurnal intraocular pressure fluctuations and early sustained superiority of TearCare over Restasis in achieving clinically relevant changes in tear film stability.
The OMNI Surgical System is indicated in the United States to reduce intraocular pressure in adult patients with primary open-angle glaucoma. The TearCare System is cleared for localized heat therapy in adult patients with evaporative dry eye disease due to meibomian gland disease.
