Modine joins DOE Better Plants program, receives B ratings from CDP

Modine Manufacturing Co. (NYSE: MOD) announced it has joined the U.S. Department of Energy's Better Plants program, a national partnership initiative focused on industrial energy efficiency improvements.
The thermal management technology company also reported receiving B scores for Climate Change and Water Security in the 2025 CDP survey. CDP operates a global environmental disclosure system for companies and other organizations. The company additionally earned a Bronze Medal rating from EcoVadis, which provides business sustainability assessments.
"Our commitment to sustainability is at the core of our company's purpose," said Mark W. Johnson, Vice President, Technology & Innovation, Data Centers at Modine. "Joining the Better Plants program and our strong scores from CDP and EcoVadis are a testament to the hard work and dedication of our global team."
The Better Plants program includes more than 300 participating companies and industrial organizations. Program participants have collectively saved more than 28 quadrillion British thermal units and more than $14 billion in cumulative energy costs as of 2024, according to the Department of Energy.
Modine operates manufacturing facilities globally and develops heating, cooling and ventilation solutions. The Racine, Wisconsin-based company employs more than 11,000 people worldwide across its Climate Solutions and Performance Technologies business segments.
The company stated its sustainability strategy includes developing energy-efficient products and implementing sustainable manufacturing practices. Modine has published its 2025 Sustainability Report on its corporate website.
