Evotec names Dr. Ashiq Khan as chief commercial officer

Evotec SE (NASDAQ: EVO) announced the appointment of Dr. Ashiq H. Khan as executive vice president and global head of commercial operations, according to a company statement.
Khan brings more than 15 years of international leadership experience in biotechnology, contract research organizations and AI-driven platform businesses. The company said he has managed teams across multiple continents and closed over $7 billion in agreements across U.S., European and Asia-Pacific markets.
In his new role, Khan will lead the development of a global commercial organization aligned with Evotec's scientific capabilities and platform services.
Khan most recently served as chief business officer at Iktos and previously held leadership positions at Proteros and Schrödinger. He earned a Ph.D. in neurobiology from the University of Cologne and holds business degrees from Wharton Business School and INSEAD.
"Ashiq has demonstrated tremendous success driving growth in innovative areas like robotics, artificial intelligence and cutting-edge drug discovery platforms," said Dr. Christian Wojczewski, Evotec's chief executive officer.
Evotec operates as a drug discovery and development company, working with pharmaceutical companies, biotechnology firms and academic institutions. The Hamburg-based company employs more than 4,800 people across sites in Europe and the United States.
