Deere & Company (NYSE: DE) announced a multi-year sponsorship agreement with Major League Baseball, making John Deere the official tractor of MLB. The partnership was announced March 31.
The agreement includes marketing assets across digital and linear media platforms, with content focusing on field maintenance and community care. John Deere will have experiential presence at the 2026 MLB at Field of Dreams game in Dyersville, Iowa, and MLB All-Star Week in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
"For nearly two centuries, John Deere has stood alongside the hard-working, dedicated people who care for the land and who build our communities," said Jon Chase, John Deere's head of turf and utility equipment. "Now, through our partnership with Major League Baseball, we're able to celebrate America's favorite pastime, America's favorite teams, America's favorite players, and the people who show up every day to build and grow America."
The companies plan a multimedia advertising program and will develop a creative campaign highlighting maintenance work for ballfields and community spaces. MLB Chief Marketing Officer Uzma Rawn Dowler said the partnership connects two brands during America's 250th anniversary celebrations.
Additional programming details and community engagement activities will be announced throughout the year, according to the press release statement.
