SiteOne Landscape Supply Inc. (NYSE: SITE) announced that Scott Salmon will retire from his position as Executive Vice President of Strategy and Development on March 31, 2026. Daniel Laughlin, currently Senior Vice President of Strategy and Development, will succeed Salmon and join the company's Executive Leadership Team on the same date.
Salmon joined SiteOne in 2019 and led the company's acquisition efforts during a period when it added over 70 companies to its portfolio. Following the transition, Salmon will remain with the company in a limited capacity for an unspecified period.
Laughlin previously worked at SiteOne from 2014 to 2021 in progressive leadership roles within Strategy and Development, where he executed the company's acquisition strategy. Before rejoining SiteOne in January 2026 as Senior Vice President, Laughlin held senior strategy and development positions at ServiceMaster Brands, Marcone Supply, and Alloy Roofing.
Laughlin holds a degree in Finance and Accounting from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and an MBA from Wake Forest University School of Business.
"Daniel has worked closely with Scott over several years and has been extensively involved in executing our acquisition strategy," said Doug Black, Chairman and CEO of SiteOne. "His experience, leadership, and familiarity with our business will enable a seamless transition."
SiteOne describes itself as the largest wholesale distributor of landscape supplies in the United States, serving residential and commercial landscape professionals. The company also has operations in Canada.
