Klarna (NYSE: KLAR) has partnered with B-Parts to provide flexible payment options on the automotive parts retailer's website, according to a company statement.
The partnership enables B-Parts customers to use Klarna's "Pay in 3" installment service, which allows purchases to be split into three interest-free payments. The service also includes buyer protection and cashback features.
B-Parts, founded in 2015 and currently part of the Stellantis group, operates as an online retailer of used and original automotive parts. The company describes itself as Europe's largest automotive parts website and promotes the reuse of automotive components as part of the circular economy.
"We are constantly looking to improve the shopping experience for our customers, offering solutions that make access to car parts simpler and more convenient," said Manuel Araújo Monteiro, founder and director of B-Parts. "The integration of Klarna has added a flexible payment option that has been very well received by our users."
Klarna operates as a digital bank and payments provider with over 118 million global active users. The company processes 3.4 million transactions per day and works with more than one million retailers including Uber, H&M, Sephora, Macy's, Ikea and Nike.
Inês Fiúza Marques, country manager of Klarna in Portugal, stated that the partnership demonstrates how broadly the company's payment solutions are being adopted across different sectors.
