Camtek Ltd. (NASDAQ: CAMT) received a $31 million multi-system order from an outsourced semiconductor assembly and test company for CoWoS-like packaging supporting AI applications, according to a company statement.
The Israeli semiconductor inspection equipment manufacturer said total orders from OSATs during the first quarter of 2026 exceeded $90 million, with most orders for similar AI packaging applications. The systems are scheduled for delivery within 2026.
"We are very encouraged by the exceptional volume of orders from leading OSATs in the first quarter of 2026, which underscores our observation that OSATs are playing an increasingly central role in the advanced packaging market for AI applications industry," said Rafi Amit, Camtek's chief executive officer.
Amit added that the order flow strengthens the company's confidence in continued business momentum and a strong second half of 2026.
Camtek develops and manufactures inspection and metrology equipment for the semiconductor industry. The company's systems inspect integrated circuits and measure features on wafers during semiconductor production, covering front-end and mid-end processes up to the beginning of assembly.
The company operates manufacturing facilities in Israel and Germany and maintains eight offices worldwide. Camtek serves integrated device manufacturers, OSATs, and foundries across various semiconductor market segments including advanced interconnect packaging, memory, CMOS image sensors, and compound semiconductors.
