BTIG Reiterates Buy Rating on Monopar Therapeutics (MNPR)

BTIG analyst Jeet Mukherjee reiterated a Buy rating and $104.00 price target on Monopar Therapeutics (NASDAQ: MNPR).

The analyst comments "MNPR reported 4Q25 results, with the key news being an updated NDA submission timeline for ALXN1840 of mid-2026 now (vs. early '26 previously) based on recent FDA interactions. We connected with mgmt who said the slight push-out in timing will allow them to put the best NDA package forward in the next few months. Ahead of the filing, MNPR has abstracts accepted at AAN (April 18-22) and EASL (May 27-30) 2026 that will provide additional incremental data updates. Overall, MNPR is headed towards a highly binary event of potential NDA approval in the early-mid '27 timeframe, and benchmarking regulatory risk is the key discussion point here, in our view. We see odds of approval higher than other recent rare disease drugs that have gone through the FDA given ALXN1840's data does not involve recent points of contention such as external control arms or novel surrogate endpoints. MNPR ended 2025 with $140.4M in cash, which according to mgmt provides runway through at least Dec 2027, comfortably covering NDA submission and potential early commercial activities. We reiterate our Buy rating and $104 PT."
