UBS analyst Mauricio Serna reiterated a Neutral rating and $6.50 price target on Designer Brands (NYSE: DBI).
The analyst commented, "DBI introduced FY26 EPS guidance of $0.28-$0.38. This is below the Street's $0.42 view. If the sell-side moves its FY26 EPS forecast either the low- or high-end of this range, then estimates would decrease 10%-33% vs. the prior view. Our sense is consensus estimates will likely move towards the midpoint of the range, which implies FY26 EPS forecast could fall in the low-20%s range. Within this FY26 guidance, DBI said it expects -1% to +1% sales growth. This range also missed the Street's +2.9% y/y forecast."
