Investing.com -- Boeing Co. (NYSE: BA) was awarded a $326,050,000 firm-fixed-price contract by the U.S. Department of War for the procurement of six CH-47F Block II remanufactured cargo helicopters, according to a Thursday announcement.
The contract was issued to Boeing's Ridley Park, Pennsylvania facility. The solicitation process was conducted via the internet and received one bid.
Work locations and funding will be determined with each order under the contract. The estimated completion date for the work is Aug. 31, 2031.
Army Contracting Command, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama, serves as the contracting activity for this procurement, under contract number W58RGZ-21-D-0094, W58RGZ-26-F-0056.
