Credo Technology Group Holding Ltd (NASDAQ: CRDO) and Molex LLC reached a cross-license and settlement agreement to resolve patent infringement lawsuits related to active electrical cables, according to a company statement.
The agreement ends all patent disputes between the two companies, with both lawsuits set to be dismissed. The financial terms of the settlement remain confidential.
Credo develops high-speed connectivity solutions for data center and networking applications. The company's products include integrated circuits, active electrical cables, and serializer/deserializer technologies for optical and electrical Ethernet applications ranging from 100G to 1.6T speeds.
The settlement allows both companies to continue their operations without the uncertainty of ongoing litigation. Cross-licensing agreements typically permit each party to use certain patented technologies owned by the other.
