5E Advanced Materials Inc. (NASDAQ: FEAM) completed a customer roadshow with 12 prospective customers across industrial end markets including ceramics, glass, cellulose insulation, and biocidal applications, according to a company statement.
The company's senior management team, including the CEO, CFO, and vice presidents of commercial products and operations, conducted facility tours and technical discussions regarding product specifications and logistics. Multiple customers requested proposals and commercial terms following the meetings.
The roadshow occurred after a domestic boric acid producer announced its exit from the market, which the company said has tightened U.S. boron supply chains. 5E focuses on becoming a supplier of refined borates and advanced boron materials.
"The roadshow provided an important opportunity to engage with multiple prospective customers, discuss 5E, our plans to bolster the domestic boron supply chain and present commercial frameworks designed to support offtake agreements and underpin project finance," said Paul Weibel, Chief Executive Officer.
The engagements are intended to establish groundwork for potential long-term offtake agreements and project financing. The company participated in three facility tours to understand boric acid applications in customers' industrial operations.
5E Advanced Materials operates based on a boron resource located in Southern California that has been designated as Critical Infrastructure by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. Boron appears on the U.S. Government's 2025 List of Critical Minerals.
