Trump and Xi to hold Beijing summit in May after postponement
Investing.com -- President Donald Trump and Chinese leader Xi Jinping will hold a summit in Beijing on May 14-15, the White House announced Wednesday.
White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt confirmed the rescheduled dates and said Xi would visit Washington later this year.
The meeting was originally scheduled for later this month but Trump postponed it to focus on the war with Iran.
The delay brought fresh uncertainty to relations between the world's largest economies.
