Domo Inc. (NASDAQ: DOMO) announced updates to its business intelligence platform that introduce spreadsheet-style data interaction and enhanced reporting capabilities. The company unveiled these features at its annual Domopalooza conference.
The update includes Worksheets, a spreadsheet-like interface that allows users to work with data within Domo's platform while maintaining connection to governed datasets. This feature is now generally available.
The company also introduced Report Builder for PDF, entering beta testing, which enables users to create formatted executive reports with multi-page layouts and automated table pagination. Reports can be scheduled for delivery and personalized based on data permissions.
Domo added Data Models, currently in beta, allowing teams to define dataset relationships once and reuse them across the platform. The company enhanced its semantic layer to help organizations maintain consistent business definitions and metadata across dashboards and applications.
"We're turning that model around by bringing familiar ways of working into a governed agent-building platform, anchored by a semantic layer that keeps business definitions consistent," said Daren Thayne, Domo's chief technology officer.
Additional updates include an Inline Chart Editor for direct dashboard visualization editing, App Studio enhancements with new components and filter controls, and planned Google Fonts support later this year.
The company confirmed its participation in the Open Semantic Interchange initiative, an industry standard for semantic interoperability that includes collaboration with partners such as Snowflake.
Domo provides an AI and data products platform for companies to leverage data analytics and artificial intelligence solutions.
