Safe Pro Group Inc. (NASDAQ: SPAI) announced the appointment of Brian Mack to its Strategic Advisory Board. Mack previously served as Senior Business Development Director at Anduril Industries and as a retired U.S. Army Officer of Acquisition, Contracting & Modernization.
Mack supported Anduril's capture of the U.S. Army's $100 million Next Generation Command and Control contract and helped build a $2 billion Army pipeline in C5ISR mission areas. The appointment follows Safe Pro's recent $1 million U.S. Government award for its edge AI processing solution.
Safe Pro's AI technology was tested during a two-week U.S. Army Transforming in Contact 2.0 exercise at Fort Hood, Texas, where soldiers incorporated the company's AI capabilities into brigade missions for battlefield analysis and intelligence data.
"Brian is a proven defense acquisition expert with deep relationships across the U.S. Army contracting and procurement chains," said Dan Erdberg, Chairman and CEO of Safe Pro Group Inc.
Mack stated he would help expand the company's position in real-time battlefield assessment solutions. He has over 20 years of experience in defense, government, and emerging technology markets, including senior roles at SAIC and Silvus Technologies. He holds an MBA from the Naval Postgraduate School.
Safe Pro's Object Threat Detection platform analyzes imagery and video from drones to detect explosive threats and other objects. The system has been deployed in Ukraine for nearly three years and has analyzed over 2.4 million images, identifying more than 45,600 threats across approximately 29,900 acres.
