Laser Photonics receives order for customized laser marking system
Laser Photonics Corporation (NASDAQ: LASE) announced it received a purchase order from a European industrial customer for an OEM-customized MarkStar Pro handheld laser marking system. The system will be used for selective surface material removal and part identification in accordance with MIL-STD-130 standards.
The customer selected Laser Photonics as the only laser platform that met their performance and integration requirements. The customized configuration was engineered for the customer's specialized surface material removal process while supporting regulatory and traceability objectives.
The customer indicated plans to purchase additional systems as production scales, according to the company's press release statement. The MarkStar Pro is a portable, handheld fiber laser marking system designed for precision surface treatment and permanent marking on metals and industrial plastics.
The system enables users to apply text, serial numbers, logos, and 2D Data Matrix codes to large or installed components in defense, aerospace, and heavy industrial environments. The platform supports regulatory standards including MIL-STD-130 and CDRH Class IV laser safety standards.
"This order highlights the growing international demand for our laser solutions and the strength of our OEM engineering capabilities," said Wayne Tupuola, Chief Executive Officer of Laser Photonics. "The customer's decision to select our technology for this European program, along with their stated plans to add more units as production ramps, validates the performance, reliability, and flexibility of our MarkStar Pro platform."
Laser Photonics develops and manufactures laser technologies for cleaning, surface preparation, and precision material processing across defense, aerospace, energy, maritime, automotive, and advanced manufacturing sectors.
