Amdocs (NASDAQ: DOX) announced that Shimie Hortig has been appointed to the company's board of directors following the retirement of Shuky Sheffer from both the board and his role as director and chief executive officer.
The appointment becomes effective when Hortig replaces Sheffer as president and chief executive officer of Amdocs Management Limited, according to a company statement released March 23.
Sheffer's retirement encompasses his departure from Amdocs' management team as well as his position on the board of directors. The company did not specify the timing of the leadership transition or provide details about Hortig's background.
Amdocs provides software and services to communications and media companies. The company reported revenue of $4.53 billion in fiscal 2025 and is listed on the NASDAQ Global Select Market.
