SentinelOne expands AI security offerings for on-premise environments

SentinelOne (NYSE: S) announced an expansion of its on-premise cybersecurity offerings designed for regulated and air-gapped environments. The company said the new portfolio allows organizations to maintain complete data control while accessing AI-powered security capabilities without cloud dependency.

The expanded offerings include AI-powered protection for servers, containers, and data storage that operates within customer networks. SentinelOne said the technology uses multiple detection engines that function without requiring persistent internet connections. The solution integrates with systems from NetApp and Dell to automatically scan and quarantine malware.

"For too long, organizations in highly regulated sectors have faced a trade off between the speed of AI security and total data sovereignty, privacy and control - especially for airgapped networks," said Ana Pinczuk, President of Product and Technology at SentinelOne.

The company introduced Prompt Security On-Premise, which it describes as AI security for disconnected environments. This system identifies unauthorized AI usage and redacts sensitive information across applications in real time. The technology operates as a firewall for AI tools, blocking threats while maintaining data sovereignty without external connections.

SentinelOne also announced an AI Data Pipeline for on-premises environments that uses filtering to reduce alert volume and infrastructure costs. The pipeline enriches telemetry and monitors data stream health while keeping information within customer premises.

The company said its on-premise capabilities already protect tens of millions of endpoints for critical infrastructure operators. SentinelOne builds on existing FedRAMP and GovRAMP authorized endpoint security capabilities with these expanded offerings targeting national security agencies, financial institutions, and healthcare providers.

The solutions can be deployed to meet in-country data residency and regulatory requirements, according to the company's announcement.
