Raytheon stock wins $74 million contract modification from Air Force

Investing.com - Raytheon Co. (NYSE: RTX) has been awarded a $73,992,158 modification to a previously awarded contract for the Defense Experimentation Using Commercial Space Internet program, the U.S. Department of War announced. The modification brings the total cumulative face value of the contract to $125,746,781 from $51,754,623.
The contract is managed by Collins Aerospace Mission Secured Solutions in McKinney, Texas. Work will be performed at McKinney, Texas, and is expected to be completed by Aug. 29, 2028.
The Air Force Research Laboratory at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity. The original contract was designated FA2385-24-C-B037.
Fiscal 2026 research, development, test and evaluation funds in the amount of $15,143,264 are being obligated at the time of award. An additional $7,143,264 in fiscal 2026 research, development, test and evaluation funds is also being obligated.
The modification represents a 143% increase over the original contract value of $51,754,623.
