Parsons receives $47M classified contract extension from US government

Parsons Corporation (NYSE: PSN) announced it received a classified contract extension valued at more than $47 million to continue work for the U.S. Government. The Chantilly, Virginia-based company said the award extends a project it has been performing for more than six years, with two additional one-year option periods included.
The company described the contract as involving a "critical task" but did not disclose specific details about the nature of the classified work due to its sensitive nature. The announcement was made through a press release statement.
Parsons operates in national security and global infrastructure markets, providing services across multiple sectors including cyber and electronic warfare, space and missile defense, transportation, and critical infrastructure protection.
