AECOM (NYSE: ACM) announced it secured a position on the U.S. Missile Defense Agency's Scalable Homeland Innovative Enterprise Layered Defense (SHIELD) indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract with a $151 billion ceiling.
The contract encompasses professional services for facility modernization and supporting operational readiness of the Agency's defense infrastructure. AECOM will provide integrated services ranging from planning and design through construction management for defense infrastructure projects.
"This award reinforces the trust that our federal government partners place in AECOM to deliver mission-critical projects that help bolster our national security," said Karl Jensen, executive vice president of AECOM's National Governments business.
The SHIELD contract allows for rapid delivery of capabilities across a broad range of work areas. AECOM stated the program will modernize defense infrastructure across the United States and builds on the company's experience delivering solutions for defense programs at sites globally.
AECOM reported revenue of $16.1 billion in fiscal year 2025. The company provides infrastructure services in water, environment, energy, transportation and buildings sectors.
