Molson Coors names Will Meijer as president of Canada sales
Molson Coors Beverage Company (NYSE: TAP, TAP.A; TSX: TPX.A, TPX.B) announced Will Meijer will join as president, Canada sales on April 13. Based in Toronto, Meijer will report to President and Chief Executive Officer Rahul Goyal.
Meijer previously spent 16 years with Molson Coors in various positions including president of Six Pints, the company's Canadian craft beer division, and vice president roles in sales and brand activation. He currently serves as executive vice president of sales at Arterra Wines Canada.
"Will's deep understanding of the Canadian beverage alcohol landscape, combined with his strong leadership experience, make him the right leader to help drive our business forward," said Goyal.
At Arterra Wines Canada, Meijer led the Canadian sales organization focusing on market share growth and value optimization. He developed national sales and customer marketing strategies while identifying new business opportunities.
Meijer holds an MBA from York University's Shulich School of Business and a Business Administration degree from the University of Western Ontario's Ivey School of Business.
The appointment follows the February departure of previous Canada Sales President Chantalle Butler, who left to pursue opportunities outside the company.
Molson Coors operates nine breweries across Ontario, Quebec, British Columbia, Newfoundland and New Brunswick, with major corporate offices in Toronto and Montreal. The company's Canadian portfolio includes brands such as Molson Canadian, Coors Light, Creemore Springs, and Brasseur du Montreal.
