Twilio Inc. (NYSE: TWLO) announced a multi-year partnership with the PGA of America that designates the company as the exclusive cloud communications partner through 2028. The agreement covers the PGA Championship, KPMG Women's PGA Championship, and Senior PGA Championship.
The PGA of America, which represents 30,000 golf professionals, currently uses Twilio's platform for member communications. Under the expanded partnership, the organization will implement additional Twilio products including Segment customer data platform, SendGrid email services, and Flex cloud contact center technology.
"Today, the PGA of America uses Twilio's communication tools as the backbone for serving our 30,000 members," said Kevin Scott, CTO of PGA of America. "As we build our centralized, bespoke CRM and lifecycle marketing platform, Twilio's infrastructure and technology will help us move beyond transactional communications, to deep connections with full visibility into each member's lifelong journey in golf."
The partnership aims to create unified member profiles using real-time data for personalized communications. The PGA of America plans to develop a matching engine to connect golfers with appropriate coaching services and implement SMS messaging for championship officials during tournament weeks.
Twilio will receive brand visibility and hospitality access at major PGA events, including the 2026 Senior PGA Championship at The Concession Golf Club in Florida, the 2026 PGA Championship at Aronimink Golf Club in Pennsylvania, and the 2026 KPMG Women's PGA Championship at Hazeltine National Golf Club in Minnesota.
The partnership builds on Twilio's existing sports and entertainment collaborations with AEG and Chelsea Football Club. PGA of America's Scott will participate in a keynote session at Twilio's SIGNAL customer event in San Francisco on May 6-7, 2026.
