Coherent showcases InP technology portfolio at OFC 2026

Coherent Corp. (NYSE: COHR) announced it will display its Indium Phosphide technology innovations at OFC 2026, featuring lasers, modulators, photodiodes, and subsystems for datacenter applications.
The company's InP portfolio includes a 400mW high-power CW laser for co-packaged optics and silicon photonics pluggables, 200G EML solutions for 1.6T transceivers, and differential EMLs enabling 400G/lane performance for emerging pluggables at 3.2T and beyond. The product line also features high-speed 200G and 400G photodiodes, nano-Integrated Tunable Laser Assemblies, and 800G and 1.6T IQ modulators.
"InP technology is central to high-performance optical connectivity," said Beck Mason, Executive VP – Semiconductor Devices at Coherent. "Our expanding InP platform, from high-power lasers and advanced modulators to photodiodes and integrated subsystems, demonstrates our commitment to delivering the performance, scalability, and manufacturing depth required for AI-driven networks."
Coherent is expanding 6-inch InP production across manufacturing facilities in Järfälla, Sweden; Sherman, Texas; and Zürich, Switzerland. The company will demonstrate its InP technologies at booth 1401 during OFC 2026.
The Saxonburg, Pennsylvania-based photonics company operates in more than 20 countries and serves datacenter, communications, and industrial markets, according to the press release.
