Bumble reports 10% revenue decline to $966 million in 2025

Bumble Inc. (NASDAQ: BMBL) reported total revenue of $965.7 million for 2025, a 9.9% decrease from $1.07 billion in 2024. The dating app company also posted a net loss of $906.6 million, compared to a net loss of $768.4 million in the prior year.

For the fourth quarter of 2025, total revenue declined 14.3% to $224.2 million from $261.6 million in the same period of 2024. The company recorded a net loss of $611.1 million in the quarter, compared to net earnings of $9.3 million in the fourth quarter of 2024.

The company's user base contracted during the year, with total paying users decreasing 11.5% to 3.7 million compared to 4.1 million in 2024. In the fourth quarter, total paying users fell 20.5% to 3.3 million from 4.2 million in the prior year period.

Despite fewer users, Bumble's average revenue per paying user increased 1.9% to $21.64 for the full year, compared to $21.23 in 2024. Fourth quarter average revenue per paying user rose 7.9% to $22.20 from $20.58.

The company's losses were significantly impacted by impairment charges. Full-year results included $1.04 billion in non-cash impairment charges, while the fourth quarter included $630.5 million in such charges.

Bumble generated $250.4 million in operating cash flow for 2025, compared to $123.4 million in 2024. Adjusted EBITDA increased to $313.6 million, or 32.5% of revenue, from $304.1 million, or 28.4% of revenue, in the prior year.

For the first quarter of 2026, Bumble projects total revenue between $209 million and $213 million, with Bumble App revenue expected to range from $171 million to $174 million. The company anticipates adjusted EBITDA of $76 million to $80 million for the quarter.
