Granite Construction (GVA) Tops Q4 EPS by 27c, Beats on Revenue; Offers Guidance

Granite Construction (NYSE: GVA) reported Q4 EPS of $1.40, $0.27 better than the analyst estimate of $1.13. Revenue for the quarter came in at $1.2 billion versus the consensus estimate of $1.14 billion.

GUIDANCE:

Granite Construction sees FY2026 revenue of $4.9-5.1 billion, versus the consensus of $4.88 billion.

Our guidance for 2026 is described below:

Adjusted EBITDA margin in the range of 12.0% to 13.0%
SG&A expense in the range of 8.5% to 9.0% of revenue, inclusive of an estimated $48 million of stock-based compensation expense
Mid-20s effective tax rate for adjusted net income
Capital expenditures of approximately $140 million to $160 million, including approximately $50 million in planned strategic materials investments.
