TD Cowen analyst Robert Moskow lowered the price target on General Mills (NYSE: GIS) to $45.00 (from $48.00) while maintaining a Hold rating.
The analyst comments "We lower our FY26 EPS est for General Mills to $3.60 (cons. $3.65). In our store checks, we found about 15% of the company's new Blue Buffalo Love Made Fresh dog food products either past their expiration date or two days away at two major chains and over 60% at a small regional chain. We estimate a $25-$30M hit to profit for buying back expired product, reformulation, and sales shortfall."
