GitLab names Jessica Ross as chief financial officer

GitLab Inc. (NASDAQ: GTLB) announced the appointment of Jessica Ross as chief financial officer, effective January 15, 2026. Ross will succeed Interim CFO James Shen, who will return to his role as vice president of finance.
Ross will oversee GitLab's global finance, accounting, and investor relations functions. The appointment follows GitLab's third quarter fiscal year 2026 revenue growth of 25%.
Ross brings more than 25 years of experience in finance, accounting, and operational leadership across public and private companies. She most recently served as senior vice president and CFO of Frontdoor, Inc. Prior to that role, she spent three years in senior executive positions at Salesforce.
Earlier in her career, Ross served as vice president and chief accounting officer at Stitch Fix and held finance leadership positions at Kaiser Permanente and The Gymboree Corporation. She also worked for 12 years in public accounting at Arthur Andersen and Deloitte.
"She brings extensive public company experience and a proven track record leading finance, strategy, and operational excellence at some of the world's most respected technology companies," said Bill Staples, GitLab chief executive officer.
Ross holds a B.S. in Business Administration from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley, and an M.B.A. from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
