After-hours movers:
Tesla (NASDAQ: TSLA) fell 1.4% after it reported mixed quarterly results, with a beat on the top line but a miss on the bottom line.
IBM (NYSE: IBM) fell 6% despite ok quarterly results, after growth was seen a lackluster. IBM projected constant currency revenue growth of more than 5% for the full year, suggesting a slowdown from the current quarter’s 7% growth rate.
Molina Healthcare (NYSE: MOH) plunged 16% after missing consensus figures by a wide margin. Its poor performance might also pressure peers like Centene (NYSE: CNC).
Southwest Airlines (NYSE: LUV) rose 3% after profits beat estimates. Southwest Airlines reported Q3 EPS of $0.11, $0.15 better than the analyst estimate of ($0.04)
Lam Research (NASDAQ: LRCX) rose 3% on solid quarterly performance. Revenue for the quarter came in at $5.32 billion versus the consensus estimate of $5.22 billion.
Moderna (NASDAQ: MRNA) fell 5% after its cytomegalovirus (CMV) vaccine candidate failed to meet its primary efficacy endpoint in a pivotal Phase 3 trial.
