After-hours movers:

Palantir (NASDAQ: PLTR) rose 4.5% after second quarter results beat estimates on the top and bottom line, and it reported strong guidance. Revenue grew 48% year-over-year and 14% quarter-over-quarter to $1.004 billion.

Hims & Hers Health (NYSE: HIMS) fell 11% after reporting mixed results. Despite a bottom line beat, it reported revenue that missed estimates.

Vertex Pharma (NASDAQ: VRTX) declined 7% after it halted VX-993 development after its pain study missed the primary endpoint.

BioMarin Pharma (NASDAQ: BMRN) rose 4.8% strong quarterly results and guidance. Revenue rose 16% year-over-year.

Kyndryl (NYSE: KD) fell 7% after quarterly revenue trailed consensus estimates.

Semrush (NYSE: SEMR) declined 14% after disappointing second quarter results.
