Mondelez (NASDAQ: MDLZ) reported Q2 EPS of $0.73, $0.05 better than the analyst estimate of $0.68. Revenue for the quarter came in at $8.98 billion versus the consensus estimate of $8.83 billion.
2025 Outlook
Mondelēz International provides its outlook on a non-GAAP basis, as the company cannot predict some elements that are included in reported GAAP results, including future changes in foreign currency rates. For 2025, the company maintains Organic Net Revenue growth to be approximately 5 percent and Adjusted EPS to decline approximately 10% on a constant currency basis due to unprecedented cocoa cost inflation. The company also expects 2025 Free Cash Flow1 of $3+ billion. The company currently estimates currency translation would not impact 2025 net revenue growth3 nor Adjusted EPS3.
Outlook is provided in the context of greater than usual volatility, including due to geopolitical, trade and regulatory uncertainty and commodity prices. This outlook does not reflect any potential tariff changes to United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA) compliant trade.
