BMO Capital analyst Simeon Siegel lowered the price target on Ross Stores, Inc. (NASDAQ: ROST) to $156.00 (from $168.00) while maintaining a Outperform rating.
The analyst comments "ROST reported a bottom-line beat on materially better SG&A vs. expectations owing to the sale of a packaway facility (105bps EBIT margin tailwind). Looking to 1Q, management guided comps and EPS below (citing a weakening of sales trends in January into February), also guiding the FY below, guiding to +2% comps at the highend vs. the Street's +3%. Although clearly uncertainty looms, per historical trends, we expect guide to once again prove conservative. Target price to $156 on ~22x FY26E EPS."
